As the time pass by, and continous increase in the usage of IPv4 addresses arround the globe cause very high probablity to exhaust IPv4 address in next few years. As per Intenret IPv4 Exhausation counters, Sep 2011 will be the month to watch, where there is no IPv4 address available to assign. World is now moving very fast towards IPv6 in thier test & production networks and one of the biggest example is Google Inc.

In Pakistan, recently three new organizations have get their IPv6 CIDR to increase the number of allocated CIDRs to 13. These are new Wireless broadband service provider i.e. WiTribe, first private submarine fiber cable operator & Internet carrier i.e. Transworld Associates and PSEB.

Whereas visibility is still very low. Only CYBERNET & Dancom is visible & stable on the IPv6 Internet and Supernet & Telenor IPv6 network was alive back in 2007 & 2009.
